We hope that you have all had a lovely Easter break. We are pleased to say that the children have returned to school eager to learn and we are sure that it will be a fantastic Summer Term for all. We are all looking forward to an exciting and entertaining term. In the first part of the Summer Term pupils will be studying ‘What will you find in outer space?’ Please click on the link to the Summer Term planning to investigate our areas of learning.
- Please help and encourage your children with their homework. This will be sent out every Friday to be returned to school the following Wednesday.
- It would be very much appreciated if you could continue to read with your children daily and use the bug club app, which is a great resource paid by the school for the pupils– this really does make a huge difference in terms of both achievement and a love of reading.
- We would like your child to wear a full P.E. kit to school on their P.E day, which will be on Wednesdays. The kit should include black shorts or tracksuit bottoms (dependent on the weather), white/red t shirt and trainers. We advise that children wear their school jumper / cardigan.
- We would like every child to have a water bottle with them in school to stay hydrated during the day. Please ensure this is labelled with their name.
We are all pleased with the morning drop off routine and pick up routine. We do ask that you arrive at the correct time and not before to prevent the gate area becoming crowded. Always leave promptly and remember social distancing measures are still in place.
Communication with teachers and staff might be difficult at the school gate. If you have a question please either email the year group email@example.com and staff will respond promptly, or write on the google class stream.
Year 1 start time is 8:40 (soft start)
Year 1 pickup time is 3:05 (please avoid turning up too early)
Thank you for your patience and support over what has been a challenging year for all.
